Marble Cold Stone Face Massage

Marble is the ideal stone choice for use in cold stone therapy because it is ultra smooth and comfortable to the skin and at room temperature marble is cooler than any other stone in nature and is very refreshing to the touch. The stones act as a powerful decongestant to help diffuse inflammation, help relieve puffiness and dark circles around the delicate eye area, and improve skin tone. They work extremely well on the sinus areas to relieve pain and congestion. When combining the use of hot towels with cold marble stones, the resulting vasodilation and constriction of the blood vessels encourages cleansing and nourishment, pushing fluid and wastes out of the tissue. Cooled stones with hot towels create a contrast to create a deep circulatory effect which is very beneficial for the skin of the face.
